The Living Justice Ministry, in keeping with the St. Margaret of Scotland Parish mission, is dedicated to imbuing the parish – individuals and organizations – with an awareness of what it means to live just lives, and to encourage each – personally and collectively – to work towards a more just society to benefit the parish, our city and the greater community. Opportunities for engagement include speakers, workshops and other events; online engagement through facebook and blogging; ecumenical activities with neighboring faith communities; calls for action on advocacy and legislative issues; and organized opportunities for direct volunteer service work. We partner with local and national organizations such as Metropolitan Congregations United (MCU), Winter Outreach, Habitat for Humanity, and Bread for the World.
