Taizé Prayer
Who: All are welcome.
Where: Mercy Center Retreat House, 2039 North Geyer Road
Date(s): Sunday evenings: September 11, October 9, November 13, and December 11, 2005.
Time(s): 7:00 PM each evening.
Description: An ecumenical service of song, silence, and service. An introductory video on the history, spirit and prayer style of Taizé will be shown at 6:30 PM each evening.

Semi-Annual Pilgrimage and Day of Prayer
Who: All are welcome.
Where: Our Lady of Sorrows Shrine, Starkenburg, MO.
Date(s): September 11, 2005.
Time(s): The event begins at 10:00 AM.
Description: This amazing shrine, 5 miles from Hermann, MO hosts its semi-annual pilgrimage. The special day will begin with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The Pilgrims will then carry a replica of the White Lady, an image that has been at the Shrine since 1852, in a rosary procession through the Shrine grounds. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be heard throughout the day and the Stations of the Cross will be prayed. Rosary Services with Benediction will begin at 2:00 PM. The day will conclude with a 3:00 PM Mass Concelebrated Eucharist at the outdoor altar. Country Style dinners will be served from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Sandwiches will also be available.
Fee: Free.

Marriage Celebration at National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows

Where: National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, IL.
Date(s): Sunday, September 18, 2005.
Time(s): 12:00 Noon - Buffet Lunch - Shrine’s Visitor Center
1:30 PM - Afternoon Reflection
5:00 PM - Mass at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows
Description: A celebration for all those living the marriage vocation, especially honoring 25, 40, 50 or 60 years of marriage. Lunch and afternoon reflection are optional. Reception follows 5:00 PM Mass. Couples must register by September 9, 2005.

Entering the Mysteries of Faith Through Mary
Who: All are welcome.
Where: Mother of Dolors Parish Center, 7th and Saint Clair Streets, Vandalia, IL 62471.
Date(s): September 29-30, 2005.
Time(s): The event begins 5:30 Friday evening and concludes Saturday with a healing Mass.
Description: The title of this conference is "Entering the Mysteries of Faith Through Mary". Monsignor Frank Chiodo, an anointed healing priest, has been involved in healing, radio and television ministries, and has recently published a book, "Cross My Heart and Hope to Live". Sister Louis Marie Montfort, a hermit missionary, has been blessed with a keen awareness of Mary's presence. For the renewal of family life and the Priesthood, Sister is called to promote the Rosary and consecration to Mary.
Fee: The fee is $45 at door or $35 if mailed in early. Make check payable to OSMM and mail to OSMM, R.R. 2, Box 190, Vandalia, IL 62471.
More Info: Vandalia is an easy drive about 75 miles from St. Louis. If you cannot make Friday night, be there by about 8:30 AM Saturday and spend the day. Missouri Catholic Conference Annual Assembly
