St. Margaret of Scotland Parish joins the Universal Church in mourning the death of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.  We give thanks to God for his lifetime of service to the People of God, especially these last twelve years as the Successor of Peter. Pope Francis showed the world the Joy of the Gospel and taught all of us by his values and example. His solidarity and compassionate care for the most vulnerable, especially the poor and migrants; his call to care for the earth as our common home; and his goal of synodality for the Church will live on as hope for all people of good will.
