The third weekend in October, we will honor World Mission Sunday. You will find donation envelopes to contribute in the pews at each Mass and as part of your special collection envelopes.
On World Mission Sunday, October 19, we are called to be “Missionaries of Hope Among the Peoples”—embodying the love of God, poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit (cf. Rom 5:5). As we pray and respond here at home, we share in those celebrations taking place in every parish, in every diocese, in every country throughout the world.
Your financial offering on World Mission Sunday provides hope to the young and growing Church in 1,124 mission territories under the care of Pope Leo XIV by supporting the formation of seminarians, religious Sisters, and catechists; the building of chapels, schools, and clinics; and the ongoing evangelization of people who may be hearing the Gospel for the first time.
