Register for our Annual Women’s Advent by Candlelight dinner. This quiet evening spent surrounded by other women, good food, and a beautiful environment is an Advent moment you definitely want to make time for. In a season of busy-ness, many women find it is a night that replenishes their spirit, focuses their heart on Christ, and brings some joy the preparation tasks at hand.
This year’s reflection will be led by Dr. Amie Koenen. Dr. Koenen is from St. Michael the Archangel parish in Shrewsbury where she lives with her husband Brian, and four children: Isabelle, Charles, Henry, and Genevieve. She has a background working in education, ministry, and leadership. Currently she teaches at Saint Louis University as part of the Billiken Teacher Corps and works as an educational and parenting consultant. Amie is known for her engaging presentations that have a relatable approach to Catholic theological and Scripture.
