Part of the SMOS Youth Ministry
This autumn, our youth ministry invites you to join Harvest Helping Hands, a joyful service opportunity that puts our faith into action. Inspired by this year’s theme, “You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world” (Mt 5:13–14), our youth are stepping out to share Christ’s love through practical care for our neighbors.
On October 25th and 26th, teens will volunteer their time and energy to help parishioners and community members with seasonal tasks such as:
- Putting gardens to bed for winter
- Sweeping porches and walkways
- Planting cheerful mums
- Giving front doors a fresh coat of paint
In gratitude for their service, community members may offer a donation that will directly support our Youth Ministry programs.

Your support, whether by requesting help, donating, or praying for our youth, makes it possible for them to live their call to be true salt and light in our world.
Let’s work together to make this harvest season a time of faith, fellowship, and hands-on love for our community!
