The SMOS Chess Club is currently planning to offer after-school chess sessions again next Fall (2025-2026 school year). These classes will be led by an instructor from the St. Louis Chess Club and will be available for students in 2nd-8th grade. The number of sessions they are able to offer is subject to the number of instructors STLCC has available. SMOS is required to provide an adult volunteer to assist with each session (no chess experience required). Class sizes will be limited based on grade.
If you are interested in your child participating in the Fall semester, please complete the form below by Friday, May 23, 2025. Sessions will run from September 2025 – December 2025 and will cost approximately $120 for the semester.
Please note that completing this form does not reserve a spot, it is simply to help gauge the number of interested participants. Registration will open the first week of school.
