St. Margaret of Scotland Fifth-Graders participated in the Dancing Classrooms competition held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School on Tuesday, April 23.  There were eight schools competing in this regional contest – and the SMOS 5th grade class came home with a gold ribbon!

Next, they’ll go on to compete in the finals against the gold ribbon winners of each of the regional events – to be held at the Touhill Performing Arts Center on the UMSL campus in two weeks, on May 6, from 6:30-8:30pm. The event is free and open to the public – so anyone is welcome to join and cheer on the students!  The entire 5th grade class will be performing and showing off their recently acquired dancing skills in this Colors of the Rainbow Team Match Championship Competition.
