National History Day – State Competition 2025

Huge congratulations to all of the participants in Missouri State History Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025! Four of the SMOS projects advanced to run-offs (top 6 in their category), and 2 projects finished in the top 3!

Parker Burgess and Matteo Galletto placed 2nd for their exhibit and will advance to Nationals in DC in June.  Zachary Burgess and Christian Redd placed 3rd for their website and are alternates for Nationals.  Additionally, Ace Albright, Ben Kelsey, and Ella Miller-Ruddy received the Strickland African-American History Award.
