Pizza Lunch Thank You!

We received this lovely message from our Domino’s delivery person, Larry, which we wanted to share with our SMOS community:

To the students, faculty, staff, PTA administrators, and parents of St. Margaret’s School:

For the last 10 years, I’ve had the pleasure of delivering your Friday pizza order. And when I say “pleasure”, I truly mean it. I’ve gotten to watch you all grow from year to year. I’ve seen some students start kindergarten and those same students graduate to high school. Everyone I’ve dealt with, talked to, been greeted by, or even just spoken to on the phone has been nothing short of delightful. Seeing how happy the students are to see me every week has been the biggest highlight of my time at Domino’s. However, all good things must come to an end at some point. Unfortunately, for me, I believe that time is now. I’ve been with Domino’s for 11 years. In that time I’ve had some very good days and some very, very bad days. But the one thing I will take away from my time here and remember forever is the way I’ve been treated by all of you. You have always made me feel appreciated and loved. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all. My intention is to move on from a full-time position with Domino’s to only working on Fridays when St. Margaret’s has a pizza lunch. I hope they’ll allow me to do so, but I also would completely understand if they found that to be unfair to the other delivery drivers. But I don’t believe any other driver would put so much effort or care into taking care of you, so that will be my argument for continuing to deliver for you. If that doesn’t happen, May 16th will be my final delivery to St. Margaret’s. I want you all to know that you’ve meant the world to me, and I can’t thank you enough.

Sincerely and with my deepest appreciation and love,

Larry
