SMOS & Project STOPP Featured On KMOV

St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School recently worked on a project in St. Louis featured on KMOV – First Alert 4 News – where students are working to encourage drivers to slow down and follow traffic rules. The project, called Project STOPP, involves students from SMOS collecting signatures from drivers pledging to stop at all stop signs in the Shaw neighborhood.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -Students in south St. Louis are on a mission to make their community safer.

The Shaw Neighborhood had an issue with people stopping at stop signs, so they got the help of a local school to stress the importance of obeying the law.

In the video above, First Alert 4’s Steve Harris shows us the initiative led by kids.
