As part of Friday announcements, Principal Holley likes to give shout-outs to our students who get caught doing acts of kindness around school. We would like to share with you our weekly shout-outs.
Mrs. Komos would like to shout out Ewan B., Anson S., Evie C., & Zora B. in 5K for exhibiting excellent citizenship in the classroom, and Ms. Unverferth for all her help in creating the 4th/5th-grade duty schedule, and Matteo P. & Anson S. in 5K for cleaning up water on the floor by the water fountain.
Ms. Unverferth would like to shout out to Jack E. in 5th grade for asking to clean up a mess in the cafeteria that he did not make, and her Fourth Grade Class (4U) for doing a wonderful job walking in the hall and transitioning from class to class.
Mrs. Rezac would like to shout out Tripp R., who walked her preschooler into the school nurse when she fell off the playground equipment at recess. Even though he was going to miss his own special recess time, he still decided to help. She appreciated his willingness and selflessness to help.
Mrs. Cheatham would like to shout out JJ W., who has done an amazing job at being kind and helping out the teachers in her room. She also wants to shout out her First Grade Class (1Ch) has been exceptional at welcoming our four new students to SMOS. The new classmates are enjoying their new school and agree, “It’s really fun”.
