Several St. Margaret’s parishioners, staff, faculty, and student representatives were on hand Thursday, September 4th, for the groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Greenhouse Venture Education Center – right next door to the school campus, on the corner of DeTonty and Lawrence Sts. The groundbreaking included speakers from GHV, the architectural design team, and the City of St. Louis.
The Green House Venture offers a unique STEM program embedded in a working urban agriculture environment – currently serving 4-6th graders from four schools, of which St. Margaret of Scotland is a partner school.
With construction beginning soon, GHV is on track to welcome students into the completed Education Center in the Fall semester of 2026.
