This week we are celebrating National Vocations Awareness Week! We have had several guests who have agreed to come and speak with our PreK-4th grade students, including Fr. John, Fr. Patrick, Br. Dominick (Dominican), and Eric Lastres (Jesuit). They helped students think about how we hear God’s voice speaking to us in our lives. Our celebration will conclude with a Vocations Fair for our 5-8th grade students tomorrow morning. We are welcoming a total of 8 different religious orders from the St. Louis area, who will be able to share their stories with our middle school students in a one-on-one and small group setting. Please pray for our students as they learn how to hear God’s voice and discern his plans for them!
Thank you very much to all who donated to our collection for Our Lady’s Inn. We had some very full baby bottles! As a school, we collected $1,133.69 for women expecting babies. The winner of our school wide competition was Ms. Komos’s 5th grade class, who collected a total of $329.98! They will have donuts with Fr. John and Axel after our school Mass on Wednesday 11/20. Congratulations to all!
