Don’t Sweat It!
Our eighth-grade students received their sweatshirts at the end of All-School Mass on Wednesday this week. They look great, and it is a wonderful way to celebrate their role as school leaders.
As we begin the month of October, we celebrate Respect Life Month. The school is participating in the annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser to support Our Lady’s Inn. Every classroom will have a container to collect money for Our Lady’s Inn throughout October. The class that collects the most donations will win breakfast with Fr. John and Axel! See the flyer and link to donate below – be sure to enter your child(ren)’s classroom on the form, so that they get credit for the donation.
Upcoming activities include the first meeting of our school Faith Families at the end of the month and our First Reconciliation Parent Meeting on October 21 at 7:00 pm in the church basement. Second Grade parents, mark your calendars.
As I continue to settle into my role, I am thankful every day for the amazing students, teachers, and parents we are blessed to have at St. Margaret of Scotland. May we continue forward in faith and love, serving God, our neighbors, and our community.
