For the past year, Mr. Shorter was placed at SMOS as an Assistant Teacher through Catapult Learning. In addition to becoming a beloved teacher in 3rd grade, he assisted in the creation of a one-day program
for our Middle School students focused on community building and leadership. Prior to coming to SMOS, Mr. Shorter worked as a Safety Officer in St. Louis Public Schools. He is also the owner of Hidden
Wealth – a business that provides mentoring and coaching services to youths and adults, allowing Mr. Shorter to serve as a role model, advisor, advocate, and ally.
