I graduated from Missouri State University in 1988 with an MS in Family and Consumer Studies and began my first career in retail management, where I worked for ten years. After the birth of my son Noah in late 1995, I returned to school to complete a Montessori certificate and began teaching Montessori for ages 2 through Kindergarten after earning my MA in education. I took a five-year hiatus from teaching to assist my husband in running his masonry company; however, I decided to return to my passion for teaching in the fall of 2010. I began teaching full-time at St. Margaret of Scotland School in 2011 and love being able to share Jesus with the young students.
