Our family has been connected with St. Margaret of Scotland, in one way or another, since 2002 when my daughters began going to school here. While my daughters were students I helped out in the library and transitioned to teaching in 2007.
I have been speaking Spanish and traveling to Spanish-speaking countries since 1987 when I went to Perú where I met my husband and lived for three years. We have made many trips back to visit relatives and see more of the country. We have not limited our travels to Perú. We love getting to know the cultures of other Hispanic countries as well and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with the students. Culture is an integral part of learning any language.
