Sponsored by the SMOS Youth Ministry
Thank you to all of those who supported the SMOS Youth Ministry for their October service weekend. Harvest Helping Hands was a great success, raising $325 for future fun events. In fact, it was so successful, that the Youth Ministry teens will again head out into the community for a weekend of service on November 22nd and23rd.
Putting faith into action and inspired by this year’s theme, “You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world” (Mt 5:13–14), the youth are stepping out to share Christ’s love through practical care for our neighbors.
Teens will volunteer their time and energy to help parishioners and community members with seasonal tasks such as:
- Putting gardens to bed for winter
- Sweeping porches and walkways
- Planting cheerful mums
- Giving front doors a fresh coat of paint
In gratitude for their service, community members may offer a donation that will directly support our Youth Ministry programs.

Your support, whether by requesting help, donating, or praying for our youth, makes it possible for them to live their call to be true salt and light in our world.
Let’s work together to make this harvest season a time of faith, fellowship, and hands-on love for our community!
