What’s the SMOS Yearbook!?
Every student gets a free copy of the SMOS yearbook designed by our middle-school yearbook team in May. Yearbook is an after-school extracurricular program facilitated by four parent volunteers, and the cost of the yearbooks are sponsored by the PTA. The student staff meets on one Monday a month, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
How do I submit photos?
If you want to share a photo of your student on their first day of school or at a SMOS sports game, etc., upload them to our Google Photos album here.
We’re new to SMOS. Can my middle-school student still join the staff?
Yes, if your new student is interested in joining, please have your student fill out this survey by Friday, Sept. 5. Email yearbook@stmargaretstl.org with any questions. (The deadline for returning students to fill out the survey was in May.)
When are sports team photos going to be this year?
To accommodate all of the various teams and sports at SMOS, we choose certain days in the school year to photograph all students playing a given sport. On those days, students will wear their SMOS team uniform to school all day.
This year, team photos will be taken on:
- Friday, Sept. 19 – Soccer
- Friday, Oct. 24 – Volleyball
- Friday, Feb. 6 – Basketball
- Friday, March 27 – Track and baseball
- Friday, April 3 – Lacrosse and golf
