Blessing of Pets: A message from Fr. Vien

October 4 is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a patron saint of animals.  It is the traditional date for asking God’s blessings on our pets.  Previously, we had held this blessing in the morning at school.  Last year we were not able to schedule the Blessing of Pets.  This year, to keep our school community safe, this blessing will take place at Church.  All dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, pets, and their owners are invited to the Blessing of Pets on Monday, October 4, at 6:00 pm in the green space between the Church and the Rectory.  

All are welcome as we give thanks for the gift of our pets and pray that God will keep them safe and healthy.  St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
