Teachers & Staff

“I’ll never forget Mrs. …”

A dedicated and highly motivated teaching and administrative staff have a knack for leaving a lasting impression on our students.  All faculty members are degreed educators and many of our teachers have completed advanced degree programs.

Foremost, however, among the educational requirements for any SMOS faculty or staff member is the love of teaching and guiding children.  The entire school community is devoted to the healthy development of each child’s mind, body, and spirit.

To maintain and expand on the educational excellence, teachers participate in a high quality, ongoing, comprehensive staff development program.  This professional development program requires in-service training seminars, workshops, retreats, professional reading, study groups and a variety of other educational programs and opportunities.  Formal staff meetings are held monthly.  The National Non-public School State Accrediting Association has commended the St. Margaret of Scotland faculty for its dedication to professional development.
