SMOS Winning Soccer Teams

Athletic Association News

This past weekend, the SMOS 8th grade boys participated in the CYC City/County soccer playoffs.  After two decisive victories they made it to the championship game, which they won to finish out an undefeated season!

Their undefeated championship season included multiple tournament wins along with their run in the CYC league and playoff games which is an incredible feat.

We are extremely proud of what the team accomplished this year and look forward to hanging their banner in the gym in the near future.

Also, this past weekend, the SMOS 7th grade boys participated in the CYC City/County soccer playoffs as well.  After two exciting overtime golden goal wins to reach the finals, they came up just short in that game but finished in 2nd place which is an incredible achievement.

In addition, the 5th Grade boys and the 4th Grade girls won the Tim O’Toole Tournament. And the 2nd Grade girls (Skrabacz) came in first in their division with an undefeated season.

We are so excited for all of these teams and look forward to what they do next season! But most importantly, we hope all of our players had a great time playing soccer this season – and please join us in congratulating all of them, whether they ultimately won or lost, on an amazing season!
