As we work in our parish to cherish the dignity of every human life and protect our common home, let us continue to pray for the unborn and work toward a world where every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy has the support and freedom to choose life. If you still have a baby bottle, we will be collecting them until the end of the month at the back of the church. Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion. How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?
