SVdP Volunteer Opportunity – Help Sort School Supplies 2025

This summer, our parish community at St. Margaret of Scotland rallied together to collect school supplies for Isaiah 58 Ministries. Thanks to your generosity—and the generosity of many other organizations across St. Louis—Isaiah 58 has received an abundance of donations to support local students. Now comes the important next step: sorting all of these supplies so they are ready for next year’s Book Bag Giveaway!

Our St. Vincent de Paul Society is inviting parishioners, families, scouts, and friends to lend a hand in this effort. Volunteers are needed on Monday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Isaiah 58 Ministries (2149 S. Grand, entrance off the Flora Place alley).

This is a quick and easy service opportunity for families and groups (children of elementary age and up are welcome) looking for a meaningful way to make a difference together. By giving just a couple of hours of your time, you’ll be directly helping our Neighbors in Need. Whether you’re a student earning service hours, a scout troop eager to help, or simply someone who wants to put their faith into action, this event is for you.

Join fellow SMOS volunteers on October 27 and be part of this joyful, hands-on mission.
