Christmas Season! A time for Joy, Thankfulness and Giving!
The SMOS St. Vincent de Paul Society has kicked off its annual giving season going on now through the end of the year! We are confident the St. Margaret’s family will give generously again to the efforts to raise money to help our Neighbors in Need weather the winter ahead. Throughout the holiday season (until 12/31), SVdP is asking for your donations to help us provide assistance throughout the winter to those who ask for our help.
Our community’s needs continue more than ever.
Please join us in our ministry of helping our Neighbors in Need!
Your generous donations last year helped us provide the following so far in 2025:
- Over $21,000 in Rent assistance to 171 neighbors;
- Over $45,000 to keep utilities on for 795 neighbors;
- Over $7000 in vouchers for beds/clothing/household needs for 28 neighbors;
- $2100 in Ruler gift cards for 64 unable to utilize the Isaiah 58 Ministries pantry.
We hope to raise $30,000 this year to replenish funds & continue this important work. We know you want to help!
How You Can Donate
- Special “Christmas Outreach” envelopes are in pews; place cash or checks (made payable to SVdP) in the envelope and give it to our “Elves” in back of church after all Masses; envelopes may also be dropped in the Rectory mailbox if you miss an Elf.

- Donations will be accepted through December 31, 2025.
