Meet The New CRE

~ I want to introduce myself as the new Coordinator of Religious Education at St. Margaret of Scotland. You may already know me as a fellow parishioner, a member of the choir, or a member of the Living Justice Ministry at St. Margaret’s. St. Margaret’s has been my spiritual home since 2005, even though I left to work in Chicago and then in Tulsa, Oklahoma, over the last seven years. But home has always been St. Louis and St. Margaret’s.
I thought I was going to retire, but God seems to have other plans for me. When the position of Coordinator of Religious Education opened, it seemed a perfect way for me to use my experience and theological education from Aquinas Institute of Theology, serving in the religious formation of children and adults right here in my home parish. I feel so honored and blessed to be able to be a member of the parish staff and the school community. I ask for your prayers and support as we all continue to walk this journey of faith together. I look forward to keeping you updated about upcoming projects, sacramental celebrations and prayer opportunities in our students’ lives.
Throughout the year, we present an article in the bulletin each week on a variety of topics, written by a member of our Parish staff or ministries on a rotating basis.
