Weekly News From St. Margaret of Scotland School

~ With the conclusion of our Mass in the Grass and Parish & (Back-To) School Picnic, we are officially done with back-to-school activities and are fully into the school year.  This is a great time of year.  It allows Mrs. Villmer and me to begin the process of teacher and classroom observations.  I can tell you that I am incredibly impressed with our teachers, new and returning alike.  We also have wonderful students who are inquisitive and full of life.  The energy in the building is awesome.  

This past week, during our half-day professional development meeting, we had representatives provide professional development on restorative practices.  This is part of our school improvement goal that focuses on creating a unified behavioral management system with a focus on restorative practices.  We will continue to focus on this goal during the course of the school year.
