Facebook Event:

NEW THIS SCHOOL YEAR… School families must have ALL parents/guardians in compliance with Protecting God’s Children BEFORE the start of School.  If you are a new School family or you just haven’t yet registered for PGC, there will be two opportunities coming up at our Parish to complete the workshop portion of the compliance process before the start of the new School year – at Packet Day on August 6th and again on August 8th. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in.

Deadline to register is Thursday, August 3.  If neither of these dates work for your family, you can check the website to find other times and locations that might work better for your schedule.

Anyone who plans to volunteer at the school or parish – all employees and volunteers of St. Margaret of Scotland Parish and School working with/near/around minors and/or vulnerable adults – are required to complete the five components of the Archdiocese’s Safe Environment Program.  After creating an account in the Prevent and Protect STL system, an individual must attend a Protecting God’s Children workshop, submit a national criminal background screening and agree to regular updates, view two online training modules, and read and agree to the Code of Ethical Conduct.  Register at and use the passcode “stlprotect” to access the database.

If you have questions about whether you are in compliance or for step-by-step instructions, please contact Carmela Garza at or 314-776-0363.
