Registration for the Spring 2024 session for the after-school SMOS Chess Club is now open! Sessions will meet once a week from 3:15pm – 4:15pm at SMOS (Purcell Hall – Middle School building) and will be taught by a member of the St. Louis Chess Club. Days have tentatively been assigned based on current enrollment and responses to the previously submitted interest form. If the day available for your child does not work, please reach out and we will see if there is space in another session.
- Monday – 1st and 2nd grade
- Tuesday – 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade
- Wednesday – 4th and 5th
- Thursday – 3rd and 4th
- Friday – 6th – 8th
Due to the varying days off in the Spring semester, each group’s pricing will be a little different but will be between 13 and 17 sessions – $130 and $170. A follow-up email will be sent within a couple of weeks confirming your child’s spot, weekday assignment, and payment information. If all spots are full, your child will be added to a waitlist.
In order to be compliant with Protecting God’s Children, we require at least one parent volunteer to attend each session. A sign-up sheet will be sent out once registration is complete.
