Paw Paws Planted

A new pawpaw grove has been planted in Tower Grove Park, thanks to these great tree ambassadors from St. Margaret of Scotland School. Five more paw paw trees will replace a declining oak tree that will be removed. Thanks to these five recruits for helping to plant these new trees – the previously damaged trees from the picnic last year are recovering, and we are in good graces with park staff. Special thanks to Meridith McAvoy Perkins for organizing the planting, helping care for the other trees, and acting as a liaison with the park.
