School Shoutouts 02-01-24

As part of Friday announcements, Principal Holley likes to give shout outs to our students who get caught doing acts of kindness around school.  We would like to share with you our weekly shout-outs.  

Ms. Berry would like to shout out Meredith L. & Francesca O. for always being extra caring and helpful to their first-grade buddies.  She would also like to shout out Evelyn S. and Nora E. for being so helpful in ELA.

Ms. Komos would like to shout out Lorenzo in kindergarten for putting up the quiet sign when his classmates were in line and Betty in fourth grade for picking up a stick on the sidewalk that the other students were jumping over or standing on.

Ms. Heffernan would like to shout out to all of 2H for singing so loudly at Church each week and Sawyer F. for helping Miss Heffernan at Aftercare on Tuesday, he was the best assistant! 

Mrs. Redmond would like to shout out Amina H. for picking up trash on the playground! She would also like to thank Mrs. Leuke and her elective for all the hard work they put into trivia yesterday. 

Mr. Holley would like to shout out Mrs. Heithaus for all her hard work putting together our Catholic School’s Week activities.  

Mrs. Rasure would like to shout out Mr. Evans & Ms. Berry for making Student Appreciation Day so special for their students, and Elle D. & Colleen M. for beautifying 6R with their amazing artwork. 

Mrs. Cheatham would like to shout out to all the 3-5 grade students who participated in the rock paper scissors tournament. Everyone had fun, and used good sportsmanship! Way to go Dragons!!! 

Ms. Kirner would like to shout out Theo B. & Joey M. who read over 1,000 minutes during January for the Blues Bookworms program. The monthly goal was 215 minutes!
