School Shoutouts 03-14-24

As part of Friday announcements, Principal Holley likes to give shout outs to our students who get caught doing acts of kindness around school.  We would like to share with you our weekly shout-outs.

Mr. Holley would like to shout out Will O. in seventh grade.  He was spotted being an awesome buddy to a first grader during Mass.

Mr. Holley would also like to shout out Ms. Komos’s Homeroom who showed great piety during their time in Adoration on Thursday.

Mrs. Redmond would like to shout out Colette O. & Ewan B. for going out of their way to comfort a friend.

Mrs. Loser would like to shout out Felix A. for making the school a better place. She caught Felix placing landscaping bricks back in place at aftercare. She would also like to shout out Alex H. for taking the time to thoughtfully research their choice of artist in 3D3 art class.

Mrs. Rasure would like to shout out 6R who worked really hard and represented St. Margaret well on their service trip to St. Louis Area Food Bank. They were cheerful and respectful and packed up over 17,000 pounds of meal kits for senior citizens.  She would also like to shout-out Evan H. who very kindly shared Girl Scout cookies with his teachers and picked up trash on our walk back from church.

Ms. Lexi would like to shout out Mrs. Heller, Mrs. Shearer, & Chris Stephens for all of the hard work they do for our SMOS family.

Mr. Holley would like to congratulate the SMOS History Day Teams who were represented with 2 group websites, 4 individual group exhibits, and 3 group exhibits. Our finalists, advancing to state in Columbia, Missouri, in April, are:

  • Emma G. – 3rd place Individual Exhibit
  • Zachary B. & Christian R. – 2nd place Group Website
  • Ace A., Ben K., & Ella M-R. – 1st place Group Website
