Principal’s Message 01-11-24

St. Margaret of Scotland Families:

First and foremost, I want to thank everybody for your cooperation today in dealing with the water main break.  We know that the 3pm dismissal for everyone likely complicated things for a lot of the families, and we appreciate everyone’s prompt attention and willingness to pivot your plans.  The crew assured me that it will be fixed by tomorrow.  If not, we will let you know as early as we can.

Believe it or not, January is one of the busiest months in a Catholic School.  We only have a few weeks to prepare for registration, Open House, and Catholic Schools Week.  Luckily, a group of school families and parishioners have been working diligently to ensure we are ready for these events.

As I stated in the last couple of PTA meetings, Father Vien and I aim to have both tuition set and the school calendar completed by registration. Thanks to the work of the School Board and the Finance Council, I believe we will be able to keep that goal.  Please stay tuned for that information soon.

Finally, I hope all of you plan to stop by for our open house.  My philosophy is that Open House is an event for the whole community – parents, students, parishioners – as much as it is for prospective families. Survey after survey points to one of our biggest strengths being our community.  The Open House is a way for us to show that off to prospective new families.

God bless,

Patrick Holley
