St. Margaret of Scotland Families:

We have had a great first full week of Lent at St. Margaret of Scotland.  We are partnering with the Parish and focusing all of our services on the St. Joseph Housing Initiative.  They help families of low and moderate-income buy their first houses.  They also support those families to help build equity in home ownership.  I am excited by this partnership because this is very close to home for our school.  The SJHI works in South City exclusively to purchase houses, fix them up, and make them available for families in need.  This service also strongly aligns with our charism based on Catholic Social Teaching and the Corporal Works of Mercy.  The proceeds of our dress-down day ($385) went to the SJHI. 

I invite all of you to join us for Stations of the Cross in Church on Friday, March 1.  This is a wonderful way to remember Jesus’s Passion and Death on the Cross.  The prayer service will begin at 2:00 p.m. 

This past Tuesday marked the last day of the second Trimester.  Report Cards will be posted for review next Friday, March 1.  Please reach out to your student(s) teacher if you have any questions.
