Principal’s Message 09-04-25

St. Margaret of Scotland Families:

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend.  It was nice to have an extra day off while the weather was so nice.  As we enter September, back-to-school activities have ceased, and the business of normal school has begun.  It has been great getting into the classrooms and seeing the teachers and students in action.

We had our first All-School Mass since the tragic events at Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota.  Know that the administrative team met last week to implement additional safety protocols for our all-school Masses, which include locking doors, checking the church before Mass begins, and posting personnel in strategic places in the Church. One way that we can always use help in the realm of safety is volunteers, especially at recess and when we walk to church. Links to those sign-ups and to the volunteer survey can be found in this newsletter.

This week is our annual Mass in the Grass event in the Stone Shelter in Tower Grove Park this Sunday at 10:00am.  Please join us for Mass and for the Parish & School picnic afterwards.

God Bless,

Patrick Holley
