CRE Update 11-09-23

This week we celebrated National Vocations Awareness Week by welcoming several visitors to our school to talk about how God calls each of us to our own vocation. We were also able to hear from Fr. John about listening to God’s voice speaking to us during his homily at Mass on Wednesday. Our students also had the chance to hear from a cloistered Carmelite nun, Mother Mary Therese, via video. Thank you to Eric Lastres, SJ, Br. Dominick, Br. Juan Gabriel, Deacon John, and Fr. Jack for coming to visit and for sharing your stories and advice with us!

There will be parent prayer tomorrow at 7:55 in the Hesed Outdoor Classroom. Please join us to start your day with a little bit of Jesus!

We are still collecting spices for Isaiah 58’s Thanksgiving Outreach effort. Please bring all spices to my office by Monday, November 13!

Our prayer chalice program is set to begin tomorrow! Check back next Thursday to see how this first family incorporated the chalice into their family prayer life.
