Lent 2023

Spring – a time of new life, renewal, new beginnings. But we’re not there yet – for the next several weeks, the trees, flowers, insects, and animals will be drawing in resources, reaching tentatively out into the world, and concentrating all their resources into new growth.

We, too, are going through a preparation period in anticipation of the new life of Easter. During the 40 days of Lent we focus our communal and personal resources on finding ways to grow more deeply in our relationship with Christ.

Our Church will look a little different this season; our liturgical prayers will sound a little different. We invite you to draw into the activities of our parish so that your heart might learn to love a little differently, too.
