The South City Deanery Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides Catholic catechesis and sacramental preparation for children pre-kindergarten through high school who do not attend a full-time Catholic school.

The South City Deanery Parish School of Religion classes are held on Monday evenings from 6:20 PM to 7:40 PM. PSR is a religious education program for students who attend public schools. The program is hosted in the Newport building at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 4200 Delor. South City Deanery Parish School of Religion exists to teach and model for its students the Gospel, the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
